Enterprise Architecture Centre
This looks like an excellent EA resource. http://www.enterprisearchitecturecenter.com/
Seems to consolidate articles from a few sources (eg SOA Governance White Paper from www.soa.com) and I get the impression that the site has a significant amount of good quality content though its hard to navigate to find information.

Steer towards a more simple future
Here's a great blog post on strategic alignment from Nick Malik and would be a worthwhile read for those in the applications space.
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/nickmalik/archive/2010/10/21/how-to-know-if-your-application-is-strategic.aspx
This has also given me a different one sentence answer for the purpose of EA. Basically EA is here to steer towards a more simple future through the process of carve and kill! :-)

Microsoft Rebrands Web Programs for Businesses: http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wirestory?id=11920903&page=1
Does cloud computing for office functionality make sense? If I were running a startup I think this is definitely a path I'd take so its good to have choice between Google and Microsoft.

A Framework for Assessing and Improving Enterprise Architecture Management
If you're in government and interested in EA Maturity have a look at this recent publication from US GAO.
http://www.gao.gov/new.items/d03584g.pdf.
Basically defines maturity levels and a series of capabilities that should exist at each maturity level. Quite useful for RTA as we're working on our EA capability program at the moment and this provides a good and easily understood roadmap.
